I learned to crochet when I was around seven years old. Now I do it for a living and I teach the younger ones. I want them to learn the handcraft of crocheting and working with their hands. I want them to learn and grasp the full concept of Proverbs 31:10-31. There are great benefits when we work willingly with our hands...look well to the ways of our households...and eat not the bread of idleness. We gain great benefits from applying God's word to our lives and living by it on a daily basis. When my work is done and my race has been run, I hope that I have set a good example and have let my life be a light to others. Stitchery can be done in many ways and includes many different types of threads, and the way they are worked together make the tapestry or finished product a piece to be desired. Life is a tapestry and God is the Master Stitcher who molds and makes us into that person that HE would have us to be. As God works on us he is preparing us for that time when we will finish our journey here and GO HOME to live with him forever. No longer a pilgrim on a journey but AN HEIR AT HOME WITH THE MASTER.
